This section covers the fire safety procedures, escape route and guest equipment.

Fire Safety Procedures

Your safety is our top priority. Please take a moment to review the following fire safety instructions.

Know Your Escape Routes:

  • Familiarise yourself with the nearest exits. A floor plan with escape routes is provided below.

  • The nearest exit may not be your entry point, so make sure you understand the alternative routes.

 

In Case of Fire:

  • Stay calm.

  • If you hear the fire alarm or detect smoke/fire, evacuate the building immediately using the nearest exit.

  • See Kitchen Fire procedure below.

Calling for Help:

  • Once safely outside, dial emergency services immediately on 999.

​

Do Not Re-enter the Building:

  • Once you have evacuated, do not re-enter the building until emergency services confirm it is safe.

​

Special Considerations:

  • If you have any mobility issues or need assistance, please notify us immediately so we can ensure you are accommodated in case of an emergency.

Health & Safety

This section cover's food hygiene, safety and medical equipment within the property

Food Hygiene

Never Leave Used or Dirty Dishes Out

  • Always wash dirty dishes immediately after use.

  • Leaving dirty dishes out can attract pests and create a health and safety hazard.

Wipe Surfaces Regularly

  • After preparing food, wipe down all surfaces (counters, tables, hob) to remove crumbs, spills, and germs.

  • Use a clean cloth with a disinfectant or mild soap solution.

Wash, Dry, and Put Away Cutlery and Plates/Bowls

  • Wash all used cutlery, plates, bowls, and other utensils after meals.

  • Dry them with a clean tea towel or allow them to air dry on a rack.

  • Once dry, put them away in their designated places to keep countertops clear.
